There are three main elements to the design. The first is the band of the ring.

Designed with a thick band, this ring begins in a fairly ordinary way, but as it builds up round the sides it soon becomes apparent it isn’t just another ring. Instead this ring begins to build on the basic band by widening as it reaches the “head” of the ring” and then adding extra detail in the form of borders around shapes.

The second designed part of the ring is the designed face.

As you can see at the top of this post, the face of this ring is bordered by a circular disc with an inset centre. The design detail here is subtle but nevertheless impressive with a simple pattern bordering the whole of the ring.
