Designed in the traditional style of a signet ring, this gold ring is given the modern touch on the flat face of the ring. Usually with signet rings you the flat face will be either left plain or have something carved into it.  In the case of this ring, it becomes the platform for a beautifully styled, yet very masculine design.

The face of this ring is divided into sections. One half is made up of a gorgeous black onyx framed in gold that gives the appearance of a wonderfully glossy puddle of oil.

If I’m honest signet rings aren’t usually my thing. I find many too be overdesigned, and it could be said that this one is too. I personally though think it’s a triumph with all sections complimenting each other beautifully. The gold is toned down by the black onyx, and that is in turn prevented from overwhelming the whole ring by the simple, yet beautiful row of diamonds.
