Looking For A Ring With More Personality? You Want A Steampunk Ring

Look at most high street jewellers and you’ll notice something. The rings, whilst gorgeous, are very very similar.

There’s a reason why. They know these styles of rings sell, and so that’s what they put out. For them there’s no point in having windows full of rings that intrigue people but only get bought by one in every 1000 people.

It makes good business sense, but what it doesn’t make for is a good shopping experience if you want something a bit different, right.

A few years ago it would have been near on impossible to find anything that varied from the norm.

Then sites like Etsy came along.

Etsy is a site that allows people who makes things to sell them online without needing to stocked by a shop. This has meant a huge increase in independent jewellery designers making their wares available, and my ring maker of the moment has to be Steampunk.

Just take a look at that ring above. Styled out of copper wire, an amber bead and clock parts this is definitely not your average ring. This is the kind of ring that’s going to get you a whole lot of attention.
