Mens White Gold Diamond Engagement Ring
I knew from the moment I saw this mens engagement ring that it wasn’t going to be one that was going to win over every man’s heart.
Because it’s design is so different from most rings, this is one that’s going to fall into the love it, hate it or simply can’t work out what you think about it category.
For me, I’m currently in the latter. You may have already fallen into one of the other categories. If it’s the second it’s probably time to stop reading. If it’s the first, stay with me whilst we take a closer look at the ring.
The first thing to notice is the material. The silvery colour may fool you into thinking this ring is a Platinum or Silver, but it’s actually White Gold, a material that gets it colour because by by being alloy of gold and nickel. The result of this mix is neither Gold or White though but a Silver that gives a paler and more subtle glow.
The design is definitely worth looking at more closely.Half of the band is solid White Gold measuring 0.8cm wide, the other half does something a whole lot more interesting. The first thing you will notice is the top and the bottom of the ring become shallower, as a channel is made to the top and the bottom.
The remaining middle section of this mens engagement ring is then transformed with the addition of a raised brushed metal section, that looks as though hundreds of thin threads have been placed against each other.
And then there’s the real focal point of the white gold ring – a diagonal channel setting for 4 round diamonds, that sits upon the “threaded” middle section, and a raised top and bottom part, that then falls away to the other quarter of the ring.
